    Is your head on straight?

When it comes to health, there are millions of experts, opinions, perspectives, and fads. Most often, we look outside ourselves for answers and for healing. With the right understanding of how our body works, we can begin to look at symptoms from a very different view point....a view point that builds trust, understanding and confidence in our bodies.

Dr. Allison Bogan will talk about a salutogenic approach to health and how to live and heal from the inside out.

Dr. Allison Bogan owns and operates Precision Chiropractic in Williston, VT offering structural corrective chiropractic care. It is the only facility in Vermont that utilizes an upper cervical spine specific protocol in their care. Dr. Bogan’s main focus is pregnancy and pediatrics. Dr. Bogan recognizes that the foundations of optimal health and well-being of a child begins in the womb. Dr. Bogan has extensive post-doctorate education and training in prenatal and pediatric care and is certified in The Webster Technique.

She has also started SPROUT, a group for parents and parents-to-be to learn valuable ways to live life with a salutogenic approach. Join us for an up-to-date reality tour of how our real estate market is moving and how that can impact your ideas for downsizing and living in a smaller home.

The Business Climate in Context: Navigating External Issues

What keeps you up at night? If you are like the vast majority of business owners responding to recent surveys (see here and here), the worries causing those 3 AM wake-ups are external to your business.

There is so much going on in the environment around us that it can feel like a full-time job keeping up with today’s news and the effects on the business community. These external factors — the political, economic, social/cultural, technological, and environmental — all have an impact on you and your business, whether you are just starting up or you are a seasoned entrepreneur.

You’re a business owner. You’re busy dealing with customers, meeting deadlines, posting on social media, managing employees, and trying to keep on top of changes in your industry. When you actually get a chance to look up to see what’s happening in the outside world, it is enough to make you want to channel your inner ostrich.

But here’s the truth: being informed about the greater business climate provides a competitive advantage. If you don’t know what’s coming at you from the external business landscape, you don’t know how to respond. This conference is designed to help you examine the issues and consider your responses to the challenges you encounter as a woman business owner.

This half-day conference will feature keynote presentations by Janice Shade of Milk Money and Jovial King of Urban Moonshine, and roundtable discussions with subject matter experts and entrepreneurs who have found solutions to the issues we women business owners face in the changing political, economic, social/cultural, technological, and environmental arenas.

Don’t channel your inner ostrich. Join us.

Be informed. Be supported. Be bold.
